NYAA-GAHA and 4PM Joint Collaborative Book Project

NYAA Council is looking for people who will like to share their experience in the program. Do take note that the activities don’t have to be TP-organized just in case they think otherwise.

The person-in-charge, James Lyons is open to receiving submissions directly and answering the participant’s inquires however do be reminded that you have to keep us in the cc loop, for all information that you have sent to them.

Below are the information:

The National Youth Achievement Award- Gold Award Holders Alumni (NYAA-GAHA) and the Malay Youth Literary Association (4PM) are currently working on a joint collaborative project to inspire youths to engage in community service/projects that will ultimately be beneficial to others in society. This book also hopes to show the commonalities of organisations like NYAA-GAHA and 4PM that transcend economic background, ethnicity, religion and borders.

Simply, we would appreciate the partcipation of some of your students (NYAA past and on-going participants), who are able to individually tell us in a
short-form essay 350-500 words how they feel the NYAA programme has been helpful in developing their social consciousness, especially where racial harmony is concerned. 4 entries would suffice and the deadline for submissions would be exactly a week from now, on the 10th of March. If chosen, their story and name will be featured in our upcoming publication. Please also ask your students to specifically name an event/s they've been involved in (if any) with the NYAA.

** Please check out your emails about this and if you did not receive, do email to me.

Thanks!

Yvonne Goh ^_^
