DEAR PARTICIPANTS,

This is a possible Residential Project! If you are interested, please liaise with the organisation(contact numbers stated below).
The Asian Green Youth Challenge (AGYC) aims is to promote the concept of environmental sustainability to Asian youths through green enterprise.

The AGYC is an online business plan competition opened to youths in Asia. Through the competition, we hope to tap on the creativity and energy of Asian youths to generate business ideas that are both economically viable and environmentally responsible. The competition will tentatively be from late 2011 to till early 2012.
We are now on the look-out for energetic and dynamic individuals to join us in the following committees.

Publicity Committee
As AGYC would be held virtually, the Publicity Committee will be the face of the project. The committee will be in charge of the overall marketing strategy which includes logo designing, advertising, branding and also the development and maintenance of our website. If you have a knack for designing, new media marketing or are IT savvy, this fun and dynamic committee wants you!

Public Relations and Sponsorship Committee
The lifeline of AGYC, the Public Relations and Sponsorship Committee is tasked with seeking out possible collaborations with like minded organisations, sourcing for funding and expertise from companies and external organisations and liaising with sponsors and partner organisations. Join us if you enjoy networking and communications!

Operations Committee
The Operations Committee will be at the heart of AGYC’s activities. The committee will be in charge of developing a business plan template for participants, providing help to participants, developing the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the AGYC’s operations as well as organising the panel of judges for the competition . If you are psyched about creating a fruitful and enjoyable experience, this committee is just right for you!

International Liaison Committees (Singapore)
The International Liaison Committee (Singapore) is in charge of liaising between the different International Liaison Committees (International) based in different Asian countries. You will be in charge of communications and ensure a constant and accurate flow of information between the International Liaison Committee (International) and the other committees based in Singapore. If you are interested in interacting with people of different countries, join us!

International Liaison Committees (International)
The International Liaison committees (International) are our semi-autonomous committees based in the various Asian countries. Being the outreach arms of AGYC, these committees will be in charge of establishing personnel contact with the local tertiary institutions. The committee will also be involved with the local operations, publicity and sponsorship activities in the country. If you are based in any of the Asian countries and are resourceful and enjoy challenges, do join us!

Should you be interested please email your name, contact and your choice committee to asian.green.youth.challenge@gmail.com by 30th November 2010. If you have any enquiries or would like to offer some other form of expertise to aid in our project, please feel free to contact us at the abovementioned email.

We look forward to your favourable response. Do also help us spread the words to your friends who might be interested in joining us. :)
